Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) has responded to claims that a bullet recovered from a teenager injured during a shooting incident in Gikomba, Nairobi, went missing while in the hospital's custody.

The hospital has denied the allegations, stating that the bullet was recovered from the injured teenager and preserved in accordance with established medical and evidentiary procedures.

The controversy emerged following the shooting incident in which a woman was killed while a teenage boy sustained gunshot injuries and was taken to KNH for treatment.
